Fitness Industry Got it Backwards. And this is Why I Created HABIT.

People often ask me, “So what exactly is HABIT?” And honestly, I usually pause. Because it’s not one of those neat little boxes like “weight-loss program” or “health plan.”
It’s kind of both… but also neither. And it took me a while to realise that. It took me a while to realise that health cannot be put in one box, one word, or even one sentence.
Let me explain. (I'll make it short, I promise.)
From Gym PT to Burnout and Back Again
Once upon a time, I was a gym PT. The kind who spent hours in noisy gyms, bouncing between clients and trying to squeeze in my own training. It was fun for a while. Then reality hit.
I freelanced, got referred clients through a therapist friend, and started running weight-loss programs the old-fashioned way: workouts, sweat, repeat.
But meanwhile, behind the scenes, I was burning out. My own health was falling apart, and no amount of burpees was fixing it. Around then, I picked up my Precision Nutrition certification, later a Postgrad Diploma in Dietetics and Health Psychology, and realised there was a much bigger picture I had been missing.
The Shift to Online Coaching
One of my clients eventually moved to the US. Instead of ending things, we kept going online. That changed everything.
I noticed something huge: most people didn’t need a tougher workout plan. What they needed was to stop running on four hours of sleep, guzzling coffee to survive the day, and eating in a way that made them feel guilty instead of nourished.
It wasn’t just about food. It was about the stuff around food. Stress. Sleep. The environment we live in. The stories we tell ourselves about who we are and what we’re “bad at.” The way we look and see ourselves in the mirror.
That’s when I realised: the industry has it backwards.
Why Fitness Has It Wrong and how HABIT can help

The fitness world loves to scream:
New HIIT workout!
Try this trendy diet!
Burn fat fast!
But no one’s talking about the basics. And the basics are the boring things no one wants to hear: sleep, stress, hydration, and understanding your relationship with food.
When you sort those out, workouts don’t just feel easier. They actually work better. Imagine that.
So What Is HABIT?
At first, HABIT was a weight-loss program. But it grew into something more.
HABIT is a framework for building healthy, sustainable change that actually sticks.
I know it sounds like everything and nothing at the same time. But this is what it really is. The FOUNDATION for your health goals. Whether it is weight-loss, gut health, getting stronger, having more energy, feeling and looking better. You need great HABITs. And you need them to be simple and boring so they will be sustainable. And this is exactly what this program can help you with. HABIT will identify what needs to be changed. It will tell you how to change it. And it will support you in that change.
It’s not about giving you a cookie-cutter diet plan or telling you to hit the gym harder. It’s about sorting out the foundations first so you can finally feel good in your body.
Think of it like renovating a house. You don’t start with the fancy paint colour if the foundation is cracked. HABIT helps you fix the foundation so the rest of it holds up.

Who It’s For
HABIT is for you if:
You’ve tried every diet, but none of them last.
You want to exercise but feel too exhausted to even think about it.
You look “fine” on the outside, but don’t feel your best (especially on the inside).
You keep working out to get leaner, stronger, and more attractive, but seeing no results, no matter how hard you push yourself.
You keep starting over… and over… and over again.
Sound familiar? Then you’re my kind of person.
Why I Really Built It
I built HABIT because I was tired of watching people (including myself) spin their wheels, chasing quick fixes that only left them more frustrated. I also hated the fact that so many people can't afford a coach now, just to spend tons of money on doctors a few years down the road...
Health should not be expensive. Fitness should not be expensive. Feeling great should not be expensive.
I wanted something that would actually help people create long-term change without the overwhelm, the guilt, or the crash-and-burn cycle.
And honestly, I wanted to prove to myself that health doesn’t have to feel like punishment.
Want to Build Your Own HABIT?
If you’re ready to ditch the “start Monday, quit Friday” cycle and build a version of health that feels doable, calm, and sustainable, HABIT was made for you.
